What I got for just over $300.00 including shipping was a solid easy to use system. I can not believe how easy this system is to set up. If you are looking for a good base system that is extremely easy to use at a good price then I would say go with this system. I already upgraded to two 125 ft cables and they worked perfectly. I recommend this system if you are looking for a starter system with people on a limited budget. For the money its good. I did backup files to the computer which is a bit complicated. I also want to note that the video quality from the dvr to computer is ok at best. I think for the money I paid for this system it is ample.

I installed this system at my wife's business and it works pretty well overall. Only complaints are:

1) that the cameras have VERY narrow field of vision.
2) this system is marketed as iPhone compatible (probably the main reason I chose this system), yet in the fine print it says can only be viewed from systems running Windows with IE version 7 or higher! How in the world is that iPhone compatible?!?!?!
