Streetwise Security Products DDCL Dome Dummy Camera with Flashing LED Light Now you can deter robbery or theft and vandalism without the high cost of a real security camera. When placed in your home or business even the most sophisticated criminals will think the premises is guarded by a high-tech surveillance system and go in search of an easier target. In fact this is an actual dome surveillance camera that has been modified into a dummy or fake security camera. This dome dummy camera is designed to imitate the small high tech security cameras on the market today. This unit contains a flashing red LED light which draws extra attention to the camera particularly at night. Another feature of this camera is that the flashing light can be turn off or on by simply pressing the dome. With most of our models to the light flashing you would need to remove the batteries. For a lower priced version without the flashing light please see item DDC. Installs quickly and easily to the ceiling or wall using the included screws. The base measures 4.5 inches across and the dome is 2.75 inches high. Requires 2 AA batteries (not included).
Customer Review: Fake Junk
Purchased 3 of this type of camera (not from Amazon), and all three would not work. One camera has screws rolling around inside. I’m an ex electronic technician, so I took the unit apart to fit it… The word quality was fogotten when they made these things – Chinese pieces of junk! I wouldn’t pay $2.00 for these things… Unless you like junk, stay away from these cameras.

I recently upgraded all my cameras in my business to these (I previously had the Swann B&Ws which lasted without problems for 6 years). An excellent color camera for this price range – much better picture quality than many of the others (Q-see!) of similar cost.

It is very small and discreet and my B&W Swanns were very reliable for a long time. Very easy to connect and produces a very good quality picture. Only issues – (1) definitely needs a lighted area – don’t try in darkened areas – (2) not a real wide angle on the lens, and the changeable wide angle is not much wider (although changeable lenses are available like the extra wide and the fisheye) – (3) audio mic is not great.

Still a very good camera for the price. A reasonable quality option for home and small business.
